If you think you're an avid manga reader, well, then this manga is highly recommended. The creators are the same people whom made Death Note. Takeshi Obata, the sensei doing the drawing is also the one draws Hikaru No Go *uhuuuuukkk whenever that manga come across my mind, I instantly reminded of the scene when Fujiwara disappeared and left Hikaru all alone :'( powerful stuff man, that particular scene leaves a strong impression in my mind. Anyway.* BAKUMAN is about two mangakas, collaborating in order to become one successful mangaka. One does the drawing and the other does the storyline. Kind of Obata and Ohba, this series creator actually. As the story goes there will be plenty of characters who collaborate like they do. What I like most of BAKUMAN is the characters are such passion driven individuals. All this time I've been reading manga, it always shown that the person who's making them live a modest life. Di suatu pagi hari, saya nonton BBCnews. (papaku pegang remote) Terus ada iklan Standard Chattered Bank. (benarkah ejaanya seperti itu?) Pokoknya, iklannya itu orang buta, lari dari Kenya sampe Hongkong. Kalau tidak salah sih. Orang buta itu mengikatkan tangannya ke temannya. Jadi mereka lari berdua. Yang jelas mereka pecahkan rekor maraton tahun 1997 (kalau tidak salah lagi). Iklan itu menunjukkan, walaupun dia buta, tapi dia berhasil lari sampe pecahkan rekor dunia pula. Karena ada yang menemani dia, jadi bersama-sama mereka berhasil mencapai tujuan. Begitu pula kami di Standard Chattered. Video clipnya, dua cowok Afrika itu, salah satunya buta. Ikat tangan mereka berdua pake tali. Lari dari alam liar Kenya, sampe ke satu kota di Asia. Lagu latarnya Amazing Grace. Sungguh mengharukan…. Bersyukurlah apabila hidupmu tak sebatang kara. Another finding at an exhibition. Ooohh how I love exhibitions/bazaars.....!! Things you can find are so unpredictable. This necklace was not pricey, very unique and ethnical (naturally). It reminds me of a traditional costume, but I don't know which. Does anybody have a clue which traditional costume this necklace resembles? It's not Toraja nor Padang nor Thai, I looked it up and they look nothing like the necklace. But it does look like Toraja/Batak/Padang traditional HOUSE though. Pointy at both ends.
